Three crafty London girls have started a little fun endeavour on their newly created blog http://tracksoffoxes.wordpress.com/, they asked me to do a banner for them:

"Viegli", a calendar for 2012

I started this exciting collaboration with Latvia's culture project "Viegli" in May this year (more info on the links here: http://ligakitchen.blogspot.com/2011/05/latvian-music-cd-and-film-viegli.html, when we created a beautiful CD album that celebrates poems by colossal Latvian poet Imants Ziedonis and songs by some of the finest jewels of Latvian music world. It has been amazing to see how this project has developed and reached out further than the borders of Latvia, there are new ideas being developed to create a digital museum, creative workshops, etc... To help to fundraise for all this development, we've created a beautiful new calendar for 2012, that has my illustrations in it.

Illustrations for Latvian magazine "Ir"

Here is one of the full page illustrations that were published in "Ir" (this one is of Latvian ex-president Zatlers).

N magazine. PRINTED

Here it is, all printed on beautiful paper, so nice to look at and (if you know German) amazing to read! Thank you J.B., for being an incredible Art Director, it was fantastic to work together. More info on the magazine here: http://www.nachmann.com/eng/n-magazine/n7.html

N magazine. p r o c e s s

Over the last few months I was working on illustrations for "N7",  a magazine issued by Nachmann Rechtsanwälte that is both entertaining and informative, focussing on interesting topics that range from art, culture and science to politics and business. The magazine was originally conceived by Tyler Brûlé, the inventor of Wallpaper magazine and  the editor-in-chief of Monocle. Issues N1 to N5 were designed by Mirko Borsche. The journalistic aspects of the magazine bear the hallmark of former TV presenter Andreas Lukoschik. It is now published and here's some insight in the process:
